Catogories

    When I click on a category on my blog, it takes me there as it should, but in the header, it states, “Archive for the ‘Departmental Represenation’ Category” and I wish to rid the “Archive for the…” I am not sure why it appears that way. Can anyone explain this to me? Is it the template I am using?

    When you click on a category, you are going to a list of all posts that have that category assigned to it. In essence, that is an archive of that category.

    What shows at the top of the category page will vary from theme to theme and is typically defined in the underlying theme files (which we cannot edit).

    In some cases you might be able to hide the entire title if you know how to edit CSS and have the paid CSS upgrade, but in some cases other things may also disappear from the page when you hide things in the CSS.
