Cavemen should not leave comments. Need spell checker.

I see it says ‘check spelling’ above THIS comment box. But there is no option to check spelling before leaving a comment on other people’s blogs. Sometimes I post comments with a couple of caveman words because I didn’t realize I mis-spelled. Suggestion: put a spell check in all comment boxes.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Most modern browsers will spellcheck as you type in form fields. Not knowing what browser you are using, I can’t tell you exactly where it is, but check through your preferences. Both Safari and Firefox check spelling as I type things in the comment boxes on sites and blogs.

Iv’e been putting it off but I suppose its time to get Firefox again. Thanks thesacredpath for your suggestion.

Now that I have Firefox installed, when I log off of my blog It seems to redirect me to my blogs home page. I gather that this means I am giving myself a false ‘hit’ every time I log off.
With internet explorer, logging off always brought me to the freshly pressed page. Do you know how I can adjust this behavior to what it was before? I liked seeing freshly pressed.(should I have started a new thread, wasn’t sure)

You could use Google for those really hard words to spell because if you spell the word wrong then Google will say (did you mean) with the possible correct spelling link next the phrase “did you mean” if the wording is correct click the link then copy from the search input field…

how was that a rude statement? it wasn’t meant for anyone in specific. blogging is for writers, nobody should have to read anything that looks like a 5-year-old wrote it. just my opinion, nothing more.

I am going to ask again please keep those type of opinions or statements to yourself if you continue you may end up with your forum privilege revoked… It’s pretty simple be respectful while replying in the forums…People come from all different educational backgrounds and some can spell better then others and no one is saying anyone has to read anything that’s not up to their grammar standards… But at the same time please be mature enough not to post replies that could be offensive to the readers of this thread and these forums…

Hey Catwoman, you know most of the time I don’t spell check (I always forget) and I’ve never had anyone offended by my poor grammer skills.
