CB Putting posts in a new category

  I wanted to add another category to the menu that already has Home and About. Someone said that you had to create a page and I did that. That created that extra category (Financial Health). Now when I want to create new posts they automatically go under strongHome/strong. How do I put a new post under this new category?

  Above I tried using the backtick characters but it did not work. So just ignore the 2 rectangles and what they say in them.

  Hello there,
  Th easiest way to do this is to create a custom menu and then include categories in that menu. They will display across the horizontal menu where static pages normally display.

  1. You create a custom menu. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

  2. You add the Categories you want to display and arrange them in the order you want.

  3. Then you add and drop and drag the sub-categories below the appropriate Categories and when you have everything arranged in the menu that you want you save the menu.

  4. Go to the “theme location” module at upper left on the menu page. Select your custom menu name from the pulldown labeled “primary location.” Click the save button in that module.

  5. Refresh your browser so that it isn’t possibly pulling a cached page, and view see your new menu with Category pages and dropdowns to sub-category pages.

  P.S. You can also add Pages and custom links to your custom menu.
