It looks like you have a WordPress. org blog and not a WordPress.com blog. These forums are for WordPress.com so you will need to head over to the WordPress. org forums and ask your question there.
Good luck.

Hi Megz0114…Not sure how i have a .org blog… paid for the domain greenandbluestuff.com… can you verify this is a .org blog? I’m very new to this and not a techie so any clarification is much appreciated.

http://www.greenandbluestuff.com/ is NOT hosted by WordPress.COM and we cannot help you with it.
greenandbluestuff.com is hosted by BlueHost
WHOIS
IP Address: 66.147.244.238
Name Servers:
ns2.bluehost.com
ns1.bluehost.comAs megz0114 indicated above WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

@megz0114
I never use the looks like or seems to be a wordpress.org site type of response because that simply slows the process of redirecting the blogger to the correct support forum down. I check exactly where every site is hosted, and then I post my copy paste, without using any language that gives rise to doubt about where the site is hosted. -
wow. very interesting. thanks for the feedback. i registered here on the ‘dot com’ and rec’d the confirmation message…Now i’m just confused about how wordpress has anything to do with my site… should i just be going to bluehost for support?

-
Not to worry, because without doubt, your blog is running on WordPress.ORG software and you will get the help you need in their support forum.
-
thank you @timethief. can you send me the link to the page similar to this one on .org. i can’t find it – my topic is listed but the thread was closed and not answered. in my haste and frustration i now have also created a username that is incorrect. soo confused…
so what is the account for that i registered at https://wordpress.com/me/account with username dsargent and website http://www.greenandbluestuff.com?

Hi there,
Your site http://www.greenandbluestuff.com is linked to your WordPress.com account through the Jetpack plugin, but it isn’t hosted here at WordPress.com. (As timethief mentioned, it’s using the free WordPress software from WordPress.org, hosted on Bluehost.) WordPress.com staff can help with questions about Jetpack, but other issues with that site are best posted on the WordPress.org forums.
If you need to create a new account to post in the WordPress.org forums, you can do that here:

Thank you both for taking the time to help me understand… your last comment helps me tremendously, as I rec’d help from my initial question here, because it was related to Jetpack. I found the place to submit new questions on the wordpress.org forums.
thanks again,
Dana
