Celsius Theme Menu — No hidden nesting?

On my other blogs, the menus allow nesting, and the contents are hidden under the main ‘heading’, and you click the heading, or an arrow by the heading to display the nested content. On the Celsius Theme, it seems that the menu just ‘staggers’ everything: the heading, then any content under the heading is simply indented — on a new blog, this isn’t so bad, but, eventually the menu list will be too long. I’ve set up menus on my other blogs, and they ‘nested’ … did I just not set them up properly here, or does the theme not allow for ‘hidden’ nesting on the menu? If it doesn’t … is there a way to do it with CSS? If not, the theme doesn’t seem suitable for menus if the menu list is going to end up a mile long …..

  • Hi there. I’m not 100% sure, but I’m guessing the reason it displays that way is because your theme hides the menu behind a button as opposed to the menu displaying on-screen at all times. I’ve seen a few other themes that hide the menu behind a button and all of them display it this way.

To find out if you can override it with CSS, please post directly in the CSS Customization forum to make sure the people who can answer your question sees it: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform
