censoring
-
Hi all,
I am very new to blogging.I am an instructor and I am creating a site for my students.
I want to be able to set my blog to preview all student content, prior to posting.
Which heading is this under?
Thanks, lisarn

when you add your students (on the Users page of your dashboard), make sure to add them as ‘contributors’, that way anything they write will have to be published by someone with the ‘editor’ role or above.

I’m not crystal clear on what you mean so some of this information may not be suitable.
(1) You can set your comments so that every one is moderated prior to posting. -> Dashboard -> Options -> Discussions (complete the check boxes to reflect your preferences and click on “update options” to save).
(2) There are other considerations as well. You could have a multiple authors blog.
What are the different roles one can have on a shared blog

(4) You could password protect specific posts you only wanted specific students to read http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/10/23/feeds-and-password-protected-blogs/

for comments, go to Options > Discussion, and check the box for ‘an administrator must always approve the comment’
