Center All Photos?

  Hi guys,

  I’m wondering if there is code I can enter or an option I can select that will automatically change all photos to align in the center of posts/pages. Or would I need to go through each individual post and center them all?

  Hi guys, I was actually hoping to enter something into the CSS that would center all photos in all posts throughout the entire blog. Currently my only way of doing this is to manually change them all in each post, which I’ve done for a few of them and that’s probably what you’re seeing…

  I suppose there isn’t any reason why you can’t just style the img tag. Might want to poke around your site and ensure it wouldn’t cause unexpected consequences.

  We’re getting closer! That seems to do it for all photos w/o captions underneath them, for some reason, however photos with captions still remain pinned to the left (alignnone).

  Sorry for the delay. It’s been a busy few days over here. I found the element for captioned images .wp-caption but the CSS that centered the regular images doesn’t seem to have any affect on the captioned images in reference to their place on the page, only their place within the caption box.

  I am still working on this.

  Hi there Ben, could you please send me a link to a page with uncentered images? I’ve taken a look at the following:

  The images in all these posts appear centered to me, so it would help me to view a post within which you are not seeing the effect you’d like.

  Hi Ben! Click Settings → Customize in your Dashboard and add the following code beneath the existing text in your CSS revisions box:

  .wp-caption {
  margin: 0 auto 1.692307em;
  }

  Make sure to save your changes, and you should be all set.
