Center Images in K2-Lite
-
For several months now, I’ve been having problems centering images in K2-Lite. I’ve had a workaround until today.
When I upload and post an image, selecting “center” alignment in the process, the images still appear left aligned, even though the image properties are set to center (css says a “aligncenter”). My workaround has been to highlight the image and click the center (text) button, which worked until today.
Now, when I click the center button, it centers the not only the highlighted image, but all of the unhighlighted text below it. If I highlight only the text and un-center it, it also uncenters the image.
I’ve resorted to using the HTML edit mode and surrounding the image with <div align=”center”><img…></div>. While it works, the <div align=”center”> is stripped from the code if subsequently perform any edits in Visual edit mode.
Any ideas?

Sounds like you’ve coped as well as possible with it. I know staff are changing the way images are formatted and continuing to change it, so I’d let them know this is happening via your Support button on the dashboard. This futzing around should not be necessary, and hopefully they’ll fix it.
