Center primary content – Hemingway Rewritten

    Hi,

    I’m new to this wonderful world of WordPress and am currently using the Hemingway Rewritten theme for my website.

    The main content in the website appears to be left aligned in the website – http://zerfasandco.com/, but i would like all the content to appear in the center. If not in the center i would like to get rid of the big margin on the right.

    I am very new to CSS but i have managed to find, copy and enter some CSS codes found elsewhere on this forum for some other requirements, so if someone has a code or an idea about how to solve this alignment issue, i would be greatly relieved.

    Thanks a tonne

    Hi there, your text based pages are centered, but on #220 (no title) I see you have a gallery and due to the size images you have chosen (thumbnail) the images aren’t wide enough to take up the entire space allotted to content. We can center galleries wherever you may put them with the following CSS.

    .tiled-gallery .gallery-row {
        margin-left: auto;
        margin-right: auto;
    }

    Hi thesacredpath,

    I’ve got another requirement for which i think i need a custom CSS. I would like to remove the image title, Image metadata and comments section that appears during the slideshow (http://zerfasandco.com/flx/#jp-carousel-169) .

    If it’s possible to display nothing but the images that would be perfect too.

    Thanks a lot for your support.

    Give the following a try which removes everything below the image in the carousel.

    .jp-carousel-image-meta, #jp-carousel-comment-form-container, .jp-carousel-titleanddesc-title {
        display: none !important;
    }
