Center social media icons in blog footer

  I posted social media icons within the footer of the blog. These are automatically left aligned. I would like to have the icons centered on the page.

  I found this CSS code in one of the forums. Unfortunately, this did not center the social media icons in the footer.

  .widget-area–footer {
  text-align: center;
  }
  }

  Would really appreciate your help!

  Hi middlemanburr,

  Could it be that you have those social media links/icons in the left of three footer widget areas? You’ll have difficultly centering them if that is the case.

  I could be wrong, but is there a social links menu found under Appearance > Menu that you can add your social media relative URLs and it will automatically show the appropriate social media icon and link to it?

  Thank you so much!! You are exactly right. It was the only widget in the footer, so was aligned left. I added two blank widgets on either side, and now my social media icons are centered.
