  What do you mean by centering everything, you already have full-width images and centered captions. Could you be a little more specific?

  It seems (at least on our monitors) that there is a blank area/column on the left….?

  I can see a sidebar on both the left and right, with your main content in the center. If you scroll down past the end of your sidebars there will be empty space in both columns.

  You already have a lot of content in both sidebars. It’s not related to your question but you might consider moving some of this content (the huge text widget on the left for example) to its own dedicated page as not many visitors tend to hand around and read everything on the first page of a site they visit. It would also make people focus more on the posts!
