Centering and Customing Text in the Sidebar, Adding Links to Sidebar
-
I was able to figure out how to get images and text in the side bar but is it possible to center the text/iamges? How do you customize it? Also, how do you add links to other wbepages in the sidebar?

The amount of “customization” you can undertake in a widget is limited to what the options allowed are in configurable widgets and your knowledge of html. If you want to center text and images in text widgets and are not adept at html then the best approach is to create a draft post (it will be deleted later and not be published) and then do your formatting within the draft post. Once you have it looking the way you want copy the contents of the draft post and paste it into a text widget.
All links are entered into your Blogroll and assigned to categories then when you place your Links widget in your sidebar the links will be displayed in alphabetical order in accord with the categories you assigned when you entered them into your blogroll.
understanding your blogroll, links widget and categoriesHTH :)

Provided your wordpress.com blog is not “private”, will you please link your wordpress.com username to it? This will make it easier for us to help you as we will be able to see the blog. Here’s a link to instructions on how to do that link your wordpress.com blog to your username
