Centering bottom widgets and color question

    I have been trying to figure out how to get the bottom widgets centered and spanning the 800 px of my content. Any hint where I can find that? I have customized the css of a theme I found online and have gotten this far…just trying to get somethings firmed up. Also, am I going crazy or is there a light cream color in the body of the post? IF so, does anyone know where to get rid of that? Any other advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
