centering customized header

    I’m using the Forever theme, however, when I added my own header, it sits to the left instead of the center of the page like the original header did. This looks awkward and uneven. I didn’t want to or need to crop my customized upload – I just want it in the center of the page. Can you help? Thank you! :)

    @carolineflow: The header image area in Forever is 885px wide, but you hae uploaded a 418px wide image. If you want it centered, you must upload a 885px wide version of it (with extra white space left and right).

    @wheninrhone: The blog linked to your username is using MistyLook.

    @dexterousdiner:
    a) That’s because you have erroneously specified a 70% max width for images.
    b) A bigger, more general mistake, is that you’ve copypasted the entire stylesheet of the theme in the CSS editor. That’s not how things work in wordpress.com (except if you are an absolute CSS expert): you select the option “Add my CSS to Reddle’s CSS stylesheet” and in the CSS editor you only add whatever you wish to change, otherwise things get messed up.
    c) CSS editing questions should be posted in the CSS forum.
