Centering images
-
First, sorry about my english…
My question is about centering images, because I can’t do it… In the WordPress editor I center the images, but when I save the changes, the images is allinged in the left… Why??
-
Question 1: How are you centering images? Are you using the image settings tool? If so, you should not have any problems. http://faq.wordpress.com/2008/07/24/image-settings-titles-descriptions-captions-etc/
Question 2: What is the URL of your blog, starting with http://? It’s easier to answer if we can see the problem. -
I do not use the image settings tools at all; I find it often causes problems with my custom CSS. Instead, I select no alignment and centre things using the column alignment buttons.

After all, thanks for the quikly response…
Answer 1: I add an image with no alignment, then, when the image is added and before write any text, with the cursor at the right of the image, I select the align center button… Then I write the text, I save the changes and the image is not in the center…
Answer 2: The URL of our blog is http://maczana.es/… If you enter in the blog now, the first post it’s mine, is about iTunes… I’ve tried to center five times, but always the image return to the left…

That is not a WordPress.com blog and our answers will not apply to you. For independently-hosted WordPress blogs, you need to be at http://wordpress.org , in accordance with the sticky thread at the top of the forum.

WordPress has added a bunch of new settings for controlling how images are inserted into your posts by default. Go to settings > media and you can now set default sizes, alignment, and whether or not the image will link to the full-sized original.
This will allow everyone to set things up the way they want them.
