Centering images
-
Hi, I have purchased a custom design upgrade for Manifest and tried to include some CSS to change the layout but am not getting the results I want.
I basically just want my images to be centered and full size… But my images though in full size appear slanted to the right, and the posts I have imported from Blogger have very small images… Pls help thanks! -
Howdy!
It looks like you’ve adjusted the content width from 500px to 800px using Custom CSS, which is a good start, but you also need to tell the theme to adjust the layout accordingly. This is why your images are displaying large but off center. You can make the main content column 800px with the following CSS code:
#site-wrapper, #core-content { width: 800px; }For your imported posts, many of the images are in the 200 – 300 pixel range at full size, which is as large as they will display. Were they originally displayed larger at Blogger? If so, could you point me to one of the image files hosted at Blogger at the larger size (or better yet, one of the old Blogger posts) so I can compare? Thanks!
Cheers,

Hi Caroline! First of all, a big thank you for the reply as I managed to get my images centered and full size.
As for the Blogger posts, my blog address is champagnepout.blogspot.com
As you can see, the images on Blogger are full size and I would like them to be the same on WordPress.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you once again!

Hi there, thanks for the link to your Blogger site.
I don’t actually see any published posts at the moment, only posts in the trash.
Just let me know if you still need any help with this. I’ll be glad to have a look once at least one or two posts with an image are either published or set to draft status. Thanks!
