    Can anyone help me center the “Pre-Order” bar and social media icons on my landing page (www.joehirsch.me)?

    Thanks!

  • Hi there! Instead of centering every element individually on your homepage like you’ve done so far, it would be cleaner to do centre the entire homepage post content, with:

    .home .entry-content {
      text-align: center;
    }

    That way you can get rid of all the inline centering you’ve added to various tags.

    You’ll need to centre the social media icons separately since they’re not part of the post content:

    #wpcom_social_media_icons_widget-3 {
         text-align: center;
    }

    Or, if you’d like to centre everything in the Home widgets area, you can use this instead:

    .home-widgets {
      text-align: center;
    }

    This should take care of centering most widgets in this area.

    As a side note, I’d strongly suggest you add a Site Title in your Customizer’s Site Identity panel or general settings, as that’s a very important element for search engines, as well as for users who see it in the browser’s title bar. You can then hide it on the front end with custom CSS:

    .site-title {
      display: none;
    }
