Centering photos – not working

  The only issue I have right now on the post page, is that my most recent post is showing the image left-centered when it is highlighted to be centered. Why is this happening?

  hey,

  you could try…

  img.size-full{
  display:inline}

  and that would center your post pictures. Or..

  img#post-3153{display: inline} to center that specific picture.

  you would need the css upgrade to do this. If you purchased this, you can copy and paste the code right in there.

  If you don’t, there may be a couple options. In the Dashboard under Appearance, it should say Theme Options. Click on that and under the settings for Featured Images you can specify how you want the image to be aligned.

  If the picture was added into the post, go to the post and delete the image. Go to your media library, highlight the image you want on the left hand side, it should say “attachment display settings.” Under that you can specify how you want the image to be aligned. I would try center or right align. (there is an alternative way, but this was easier to explain)

  Not an expert, just saw your question was unanswered. I am basing the 2nd option (Theme settings) off of my own, but it may apply to you.

  @laura960, I see that you have applied the center text alignment to the image after you inserted it, but the image itself was set for a left alignment when it was inserted. To fix this open the post in the post editor, click to highlight the image and then click the center text button to remove that tag. Next, click on the image again and then click the edit image button that shows at the top left corner of the image and when the window opens, under image alignment, click the “center” radio button and save. Preview your post and you will see the image is center aligned.
