No, the last time I checked, it no longer works except for certain viewers (if it ever really did).
It only works without issue when I’m viewing the changes I’ve made to the page, and when I’m signed in. If I’m signed out, it does not behave the same.

In the screen options/layout drop down box it gives you the number of columns option but no….’no sidebar’

Shadowfax, Read the info on thesacredpath again. You have to create a “Page” and select that option. Good luck! X

In the attributes module in the page editor (typically to the right of the content box and below the “publish” module) is a “page template” pulldown. Select it there.

There are several, but as I said, they are for self-hosted wordpress blogs and will not work here.
Lightbox is one of them, thickbox is another, but as I said, they won’t work here.
