Central Inventory Database For Multi-Locations

We have a WordPress site and now we have plugins for WooCommerce shopping cart and the payment processing lined up. Website: http://www.denaliknife.com

Issue 1: We have a large inventory database that needs to be bulk uploaded en-mass (loading each item individually would take too much time) to a WP compatible Inventory system. The Inventory then has to be assigned to the locations and tracked to where it went: A) Warehouse, B) In Store, C) On the website. (we may add a location). We have ready 4,000+ various items to upload in Excel.

Issue 2: In our Excel the items are categorized, and item numbers assigned, materials used, pictures and descriptions of inventory and of course pricing. Again loading this one at a time would be tedious. and time consuming. We want the items loaded ready for sale BUT we want to pick and choose from the entire inventory what gets web assigned like a item is activated LIVE with ON/OFF function as we don’t want 3,500 items listed at once we want to be selective and exclusive of the items we choose to upload. We may only have 400 items active on the website at any given time. We may run sales during holiday’s etc.

Issue 3) We don’t know if there is a WP prebuilt central database inventory system we can utilize to manage and upload into/from our current Excel database. We would need to be able to control all inventory in all locations from a internet back office access and then pick from that central database what goes on the site. Again we don’t want all inventory items up on the web active at once.

The inventory would be managed by us behind the website, store, and warehouse and we would see inventory sold, or if retuned then available to be re-added back onto the website.

So our bottom line question is basically us trying to find out who has an already pre-built a master inventory mgmt/tracking system and if it’s open source and plugs into a WordPress website that users can access via a secure web login.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes
