Centralized Site Management

    Hi,

what does “Centralized Site Management” mean in the wordpress.com pricing table?

I have experience in multi site wordpress architecture and I would like to go for wordpress.com hosting but with multi-site. Does it mean the same? Can I have a couple of sites with separate domains managed in 1 place?

  • Hi there,

Centralized Site Management basically means that through WordPress.com, you are able to manage all of your sites in one convenient place. As the note says, Seamlessly switch between 2, 20, or 200 sites. All from one place. But, no, it’s not the same as a multisite.

Are you wanting multisite access in order to set up a staging site? if so, that is a feature that will be available very soon on WordPress.com and will be through our plugin-enabled plans:

If you check back early next week, we’ll have more information on this, but let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
