Centre images in Gallery/Carousel View window? on Free WordPress.com

  In the Photo Gallery Carousel in Free WordPress.com (no upgrade): Images appear on the LEFT hand side of the full-size Carousel View. How can I make images CENTRED please? Is image left a default? I have checked other WordPress.com sites and their carousel images are often hard left too. Surely this can’t be the only option, even in free wordpress?

  <div align="center>[gallery]</div>

  Hi Raincoaster, [i hope], (have never used a forum before so assume this is the reply box).
  I tried that thankyou. it appeared to centre the thumbnails but had no effect on the carousel image justifying left. However, it was still helpful to get me thinking about other possibilities so thanks again, gaye
