Cerauno CSS Help

    Hi, I need some help adjusting the css on my cerauno theme and would be so grateful if someone could help me! So here is what I’m trying to do:

    1. Adjust the header image so that it fits in the area there. Right now the image seems to be blown up and I just don’t know how to fix it. I’ve resized the image a million times and it blows it up regardless. If there was someway to get right of the lines restricting the header image altogether that would good too.

    2. Instead of having just a portion of the featured image/content in a post shown, I’d like all the images and content shown on the home page.

    Are either of these things possible to do? Thanks!

    Hi there, I’m seeing Nucleare active on your site right now, so I can’t see the issue you are wanting to correct on Cerauno.

    In Cerauno, you have a couple of choices. Cerauno supports the Flexible Header feature and you should be able to add a header image of any size you wish and just skip the cropping and such when you insert it. The recommended size is 1400 x 200.

    Cerauno also supports the Site Logo feature, which has a maximum size of 1000 x 300.

  • Hi,

    1. The linked blog is currently using Nucleare theme, but I suppose you tested Cerauno with the current header image, correct? It does blow up, because the header size is not 1400 x 200. See if you like this new layout, won’t blow up on mobile either:

    .site-branding:before {
        background-size: contain !important;
    }

    2. Ah, I’m afraid that won’t be possible. This theme is hard-coded to automatically display post excerpts and this behavior can’t be modified.

    It’s still possible to manually do it on individual posts. Open a post in editor, switch to HTML mode, copy the entire post and paste it in the “Excerpt” section, which can be found under Advanced Settings in the editor. Be warned, linked images won’t be displayed!

  • Okay, Richard, you beat me to it. :D Didn’t refresh.

    Thanks for the info! I just decided to change the theme altogether and I think that was the best decision for me. Thanks again!
