Cerauno & Jetpack

  I’m currently using the Cerauno theme AND Jetpack (all plugins). Despite this, the dashboard always informs me that:

  The Jetpack plugin is required to use some of this theme’s features, including: Site Logo (no specific module needed). Please install Jetpack by WordPress.com. Install Dismiss this notice.
  
  It is installed. If I hit Install, the installing fails.

  This is one of the many inconveniences I experience with Jetpack (I already deleted their Social Notes option, it simply triggers a fatal error on my site, and will continue to delete their troublesome plugins one by one until Jetpack is finally out of the picture)

  Anyone else facing the same issue with Cerauno and Jetpack?

  Allow me to explain that this is the support forum for WordPress.com. WordPress.com is a hosting service similar to Cloudflare or GoDaddy. We are different from WordPress open-source software which is usually referred to as WordPress.org.

  Support for WordPress.org websites (that is, websites using the WordPress software and not hosted by WordPress.com), is usually handled through the WordPress.org forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  I have reported this to our team, but as the Cerauno theme hasn’t received any updates since 2015, my recommendation is changing to a more modern theme that is still being maintained and updated.
