Cerauno Resize Feature Image on Front Page

    Hi,

    I’ve been using the blog in the Cerauno theme for our annual meeting. I love the design but I’m new to CSS and perhaps this was not the best theme to try to customize while learning CSS on the fly. Regardless, I am struggling with the featured images, especially the size on the front page. It appears that the default size there is 1400×400, which really squishes my images — they tend to be more of a square nature. Using CSS and creative cropping, I have been able to make the featured image look acceptable on the single post page but no matter what I try, I can’t make the image on the front page look right. It seems to be cropping the picture at the bottom and is also huge — 800 pixels by 500-ish. I need to either resize it as a smaller percentage or decrease the height.

    I tried this code, which works well on the single post but doesn’t do anything on the front page:

    .featured-header-image {
    float: left;
    width: 60%;
    }

    (I like the float left).

    Help, help, help and thanks,
