Cerauno theme – difficulty with main entries
-
Hello – I’m trying to add images for the cerauno theme. But I don’t find anywhere that defines image size for them. It looks like the images are responsive to screen size. But most of the images I have in my library are vertical while the Cerauno theme uses horizontal images.
I’d like my own entries to look just like the sample theme, with the title, images, and then the date and author and comments underneath the image, and the writing and “more” underneath the image on the right side.
Where can I set those parameters? Thanks!

Howdy :)
When it come to images I always recommend following the optimization guidelines on this page: https://wordpress.com/support/media/image-optimization/
That will help you optimize your storage space.
I didn’t see any images in those first couple posts. Can you send me a link to a post or page where they’re display isn’t correct? Thanks.
You may want to edit the images before uploading them in to the media library to fit the scale of the theme. Otherwise, you will want to use a different theme.

Hello. I haven’t put images in yet because I don’t know the size of the area.
When I look at the Cerauno theme, I don’t see specs for the images on the home page. I see horizontal images followed by text beneath the other photo – text on the right, author and date and comments on the left.
When you select individual stories, the image is quite a bit bigger. I’m just trying to load in images that will be close to what the theme shows in their display model.

Hello Lee, the images on the demo are 1400px wide, and 400px tall. If you want to make them larger than that (or squarer, in case you change themes or layouts later) just center the important parts of the image so they won’t get cropped out.
