Cerauno theme: some translation missing (german) / some css questions

I just recently discovered the Cerauno theme and I abolutley love its clean design!
Bug in submenus: Submenus have no highlighted mouse-over colour on desktop browsers.
Some german translations of standard links are missing: How can I translate (or help translating) some items, which are still in english language? I discovered “read more”, “previous post”, “next post”, “tag:” (Schlagwort) which are not yet translated to german. Can this be done with css?
Custom design/CSS: I would like to remove the “author” link of each post on the front page and on single post page. And I would like to enlarge the font size of the “date” item of each post on the front page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It looks like most of Cerauno has been translated into German, but “Read More” is not yet translated, so it’s still displaying in English.
You may add any missing translations here directly:
Let me know once you’ve added and we’ll have a volunteer German GlotPress validator take a look.
“Tag” is not currently a translatable string, it’s “Tag” in any language. I’ll look into whether this is intentional and get back to you.
“previous post”, “next post” – I’m looking into why these aren’t showing up as translatable.

.single .byline, .group-blog .byline, .entry-meta .byline { display: none; }And I would like to enlarge the font size of the “date” item of each post on the front page.
Give this a try:
.blog .entry-meta .posted-on { font-size: 1.5em; }You may adjust the size as you like.

We double-checked and the approved translation of Tag/Tags in German is the same word, i.e. Tag/Tags.
Do you have a German alternative to suggest?

Sincerly, I don’t know.
Since “Tag” (german) is normally translated to “day” (english), the use of “Tag” also for a “label” is a little bit confusing (for me).
The closest alternative translation would be “Etikett” (https://de.wiktionary.org/wiki/Etikett).
“Etikett” is normally used for tags sticked to an object (in form of a label or sticker or attached by a string).
If you asked german non-IT people what the tag icon (e.g. https://www.google.ch/search?q=tag+icon&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X) describes, they would describe it as “Etikett”.
But I don’t know how the community or users/readers would react to this strict/clean translation, which feels like to old times.

The post editor translates “tag” (e) to “Schlagwort” (ger), “tags” (e) to “Schlagwörter” (ger).

Hi there – could you please take a look at the untranslated strings for Cerauno:
There was an issue with the translation file for this theme, which is now fixed. You’ll need to re-add the translation for “Read More” (sorry about that!) and you’ll see that the strings “Next Post” and “Previous Post” are now translatable.
Let me know when this is done.
In terms of a new translation for “Tag” – sounds like that’s probably not something that would be changed at this point, since “Tag” is the word used in all the other themes I spot-checked.

Thanks for adding the new translations! I’ll ask a German validator to have a look, and once they are approved they should go live within a day after that. I’ll keep you posted here.

BTW: Have you ever tried to scale the zoom rate of your browser while it displays a Cerauno front page? Sometimes “date” and “comment” is placed to the left of the short text of every blog post, sometimes it’s placed below the short text. This happens with IEX/Firefox/Chrome… See: https://unterwegs13.files.wordpress.com/2015/07/unbenannt1.jpg (all three at 100% zoom rate)

That’s an intentional design adjustment for smaller screen resolutions – it’s part of the theme’s responsive design. You’ll see the same thing if you make the browser window smaller.

Hi there! We’ve added a slight colour change to the menu items on hover. It’s quite subtle, to match the overall feel of the site, but provides better visual feedback when you hover over an item.
