  some images suddenly showing in vastly enlarged format only. have been fine for last 4 years.

  Can you share the link to the page/post where the images have gotten bigger in size? Also, were there recent changes on your site that you can think of that may have affected this? (For example, did you make some edits to the page/post and then noticed the images got larger?)
