Certain Referrers not showing up

    Hi.. I wrote a story for Yahoo Travel. In it they provided a link to my site. I have had multiple friends tell me they’ve clicked through but none of it shows up on my Referrers panel. How can I fix that?

    Hi Susan,

    Please note that Yahoo Travel is served via HTTPS, meaning that the referrer header is not sent, so we have no way to track the referrer.

    So if your referrers are coming from that actual site they will not show up. But, some referrers may still show up in your stats because they will be coming from an RSS feed or some other browser extension or app that sets the referrer header to the Yahoo Travel address.
