Certain types of blocks have been enlarged in scale across all pages for my website
-
blocks like button, text have scaled up en size and altered the layout of my pages for the worse. I finished setting up my website a 3 months ago and have not touch the pages since but 2 weeks ago certain blocks have enlarged and that is consistent across all my pages. Can someone explain what have caused this to happen? like here https://thomasnoes.wordpress.com/games/ the buttons ‘games’, ‘semester projects’, ‘Unity’, and ‘VR’ used to be small enough to be on the same row.

Hi there,
So, you haven’t change anything on your site at all and the buttons just appears larger now? Does the size of the buttons decrease if you change the size of the text above?

hi!
I checked to be sure and i haven’t made any changes to the pages since june 27th where the latest revision happened. If I have altered the size without knowing, I think it must have been in some more general/overall settings – maybe some general website settings or profile settings if that is possible? that would also explain why the buttons and other block types appear larger across all pages.for your second suggestion, I did try to alter the size of the different text blocks and it only impacts the text blocks themself and nothing else.
It is a way to manually fix the text blocks individually but there are no size option for buttons so they are still too large. -
I see that in June you switched from the Orvis theme to the Argent theme, around the time you made your edits.
What I noticed is that the layout of your page looks good on the previous theme as it has a wider “page content area”
You can see a preview of the layout in Orvis at this link: https://d.pr/i/k5Wtpu
Is it the case that your page had a similar appearance when you switched to the Argent theme? This theme has very narrow pages so I do not see how your buttons would have fit previously.
