certified site from Go Daddy

I am following up on my service request from last Wednesday. Haven’t heard back from anyone.

Thank you for your support request:

Go Daddy told me they’d checked with an administrator at Word Press and assured me that their site certification certificate would work with an HTML widget. It doesn’t. Should I get my money back from them or is there some work around? This is the code:

    <span id=”cdSiteSeal1″><script type=”text/javascript” src=”//tracedseals.starfieldtech.com/siteseal/get?scriptId=cdSiteSeal1&cdSealType=Seal1&sealId=55e4ye7y7mb730ce03eff1443588ff12cqy7mb7355e4ye72ff38ee171a737bf8″></script></span>

Your message is flying through cyberspace to us as you read this. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

    Hi there,

From what I can see, you don’t have a custom domain associated with your WordPress.com blog.

If you’re looking to add the certification certificate to your WordPress.com site, I’m afraid that code won’t work because we remove all Javascript for security reasons. For more information on code restrictions, please visit this page.

It is possible that GoDaddy thought you were referring to a self-hosted WordPress website, available at http://wordpress.org/

For more information on the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, please visit this page.

If you already have a self-hosted site with WordPress.org, you can find support for self-hosted installs at http://wordpress.org/support
