Change a blog from private to public
-
I changed the privacy setting to ‘public’. (Video: WordPress Tutorial: How to change Your privacy Settings’.
Still I am not able to read the website from ‘Blurb’-Import Website (still Look like it’s private).
Does it take some time (Minutes. Hours ?? ) to change?
Thank You for your help!
WolfgangThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey,
did you make sure to click on the “save settings” button right after you changed your privacy settings? Maybe try doing it again just in case?
-
Hey
This was my idea too! ;=)
But this was a nice hint.I found out that I changed the privacy at my Second blog !! :=((
But if i change to the correct site I have no manage Menü on the left and no Setting menue?
Any idea about this ? -
That´s odd.. So when you are in “my sites”, you click on “switch site” you should be able to choose the correct one and then modify it. What does appear there when you do that?
-
switching to the correct site i have only 4 items on the left:
View Site
Stats
“Mangage”
Blog Posts (Add)
CommentsIt’s a old blog (2011). It was absolut free at this time – possible I need to “Upgrade” this site?
Thank You for Your help!

Hi there,
Can you please give the address of the site you’re trying to change?
The only site in your account that is set to private is sigo2china.wordpress.com, but your username is only a contributor on that site, not an admin or an owner. Only an admin account on a site can change the site settings, so you won’t see the Settings option for that site while logged into your siwo200 account.

sigo2china.wordpress.com
I think i am a little confused about account.
I thought i have only the siwo200 account. ;=(how can i find out which account my sigo2china.wordpress.com belongs?
Thank you for helping me!

Go to My Sites ->Blog Posts and select the Everyone tab top right. You’ll see the other user’s username appearing above the posts they authored.

you are a “happiness Engineering! ;=))
I didn’t remember that i gave all the admin Rights to my wife, who was writing this blog and i only managed the pictures.
Thank you!
