Change a post date

  I am looking to move my blog over from a a site that has a proprietary software, so I cannot just migrate it over. However, it’s 7 months’ worth of blogs, and I do not want them all to appear in May. How do I back-post them, if that makes sense? I haven’t chosen a theme page yet, but I know which I’d like. Does it matter? And how would I back-date?

  Does not matter which theme, but when you are on the editing page for the post just look over to the far right and you will see a blue header that reads “Post Timestamp”. Click the + sign to expand the box and follow these instructions:

  Post Options – Post Timestamp

  You would go in to Edit each of them and change the datestamp in the column on the right-hand side. It’s tedious but I don’t know of any way to automate that.
