  I’m afraid that domains registered at WordPress do not have the option to change the root-level A record. If you want to change the A record, you will need to try one of the following options:

  1. New Registrar

  Transfer the domain out to another registrar that allows a root-level A record change. This guide explains how to transfer the domain name to another registrar.

  Domain Management

  2. Subdomain

  Use a subdomain instead of root domain. An example of a subdomain is “blog.example.com”. To create a subdomain, please follow the instructions here:
