Change A-record instead of registrar für domain mapping

    Hello, I wand to map my domain http://www.silbenwerkstatt.de für my wordpressblog silbenwerkstatt.wordpress.de. Unfortunately Strato, which hosts my domain, told me, that I can’t change the registrar only the A-record. Could I get the IP-adress, that I need to enter there?

    Hi Patricia.

    Do you mind asking them if they could configure your Name Servers to be: 

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    This is much preferred over pointing A records, since the IP addresses can change and your site would be broken until you changed the A records again.

    Let me know if they still insist on A records.
