Change account email address

    I am trying to change the email address for my account but it now shows a message stating “There is a pending change of your email to ********@*******.com. Please check your inbox for a confirmation link”
    The only email I have received reads “We recently received a request to change the email address for the WordPress.com user ******** from **********@l*******.net to *********s@********t.com*

    If you made this request, you can safely ignore and delete this email.

    If you did not request this change, please respond to this email immediately.

    There is no confirmation link so how do I confirm change request?

    Hey,

    Could you check the Spam folder on your email?

    I’ll also add the modlook tag in order to get a staff member to have a look at this.

    Hi there,

    The email with the confirmation link will be sent to the new email address you added. The email you mention is the one sent to the old address.

    Please check the new email address, and make sure to check the spam folder, and any other filters you might have active.

    Also go to https://wordpress.com/me/account/ and make sure you did not make a typo in the new email address you added.
