Change Active Email

  The new email was accidentally activated, and I’d like to change the current email to the new email.

  Example: I’ve logged in with (email visible only to moderators and staff), and I’d like to change it with (email visible only to moderators and staff), which was accidentally logged in with google automatically and new account was created. How can I change?

  Hi there,

  We require each user account to also use a unique email address. This means that accounts may not share the same email address. Each address can only be associated with one WordPress.com account, it will not allow you to use the same email again.

  To solve the issue, you can use a different email address that is not already in use, or you can log in to the account currently using your desired email address and change it to something else. Once changed, you can then reuse the email on a different account.

  But the problem is that currently the account attached to my new email is already deleted. I think that By deleting it, I may reuse it again.

  Hi there,

  The qwe email you want to use is associated with a different WordPress.com account. That account has not been deleted, but is still active.

  You’ll need to log into that account and change its email to something else first, before you’ll be able to use that email for your xavernas account.

  Deleting the other account will also free up that email, but only after 30 days when the data associated with that account is completely deleted.
