change address from brooklnymodern.wordpress to .com

  Hi,
  Very new blogger here.
  My wordpress blog is: brooklynmodern.wordpress.com
  I would like to change it to brooklynmodern.com
  is this possible?
  are there any good books on how to do this as well?
