Change administration email

    I want to change my email for my wordpress site. I have googled how to do this but cannot find anything to help. My email does not show up in Settings as people say. WHERE DO I FIND MY ADMIN EMAIL ADDRESS TO CHANGE IT in 2022 ? Thank you so much

    For what site do you want to change the email?

    WordPress.com sites don’t have site-specific admin email addresses. Instead, the email is set at the account level, and all sites that belong to your username account, or that you’re a member on, will send you notifications to that email.

    You can update your WordPress.com account email in account settings, as explained above.

    If you’re referring to the admin email address for a stand-alone WordPress site hosted at another provider, you need to log into WP-Admin for that site directly. Then you can set your admin email address for the site at Settings ->General in WP-Admin, and can optionally set a different email address for your user account on the site under Users ->Profile.
