change administrator, delete one of two blogs

  Hi — LJgarth here. I’ve been administering Vermilyanotes for my partner, but we’re ready for her to take it over, do her own posting, have comments sent to her email address, etc. I also want to delete the emerging university blog from this site, so I can start it up a again on a new wordpress site that I’ll host. Can you advise? I see “delete blog” but I only want to delete one of them. And all the warnings made me decide to cancel changing the user name. Thank you. Lucinda

  It should be no problem for you to transfer ownership of the blog to your partner: Transferring Your Blog to Another User or Account

  For your other blog: I don’t recommend deleting the site, because you really, really can’t get the site or the address back later if you change your mind.

  You can make it private instead, and it will still be intact so you can export your content for a new WordPress install, and can sit unused as a backup afterwards.
