Change all permalinks via XML-RPC API

  Hello.

  I imported about 500 posts from LiveJournal, where most of them had Cyrillic titles. WordPress automatically created permalinks for them with lots of %xx (that replace Cyrillic characters), which is inconvenient.

  For example, post titled “День победы” would look like
  http://yvushakov.wordpress.com/2008/05/10/%d0%94%d0%b5%d0%bd%d1%8c-%d0%bf%d0%be%d0%b1%d0%b5%d0%b4%d1%8b/

  What I’d like to do is go through every post and automatically apply transliteration, i.e. change Cyrillic letters to Latin letters, according to a transliteration standard,
  so it would look like
  http://yvushakov.wordpress.com/2008/05/10/denj-pobedy/

  Can I do that?
