Change an existing domain

  Hi.

  I would like to change my existing domain name http://www.postcardsofheaven.com into a new one. Should I have to wait for the existing domain to expire or can I register now and map the new to my blog? If I change it now, does this mean I have to pay $18 right away or it will not cost me a thing for now until my current 1yr subscription is running?

  Which is better?

  Hi there,

  What you can do is purchase the new domain now and set that as the Primary Domain by going to Store > My Domains in your Dashboard. As the primary domain all your other domains will redirect to the new one.

  Your current domain is set to expire on June 28th, 2015. You can leave that as it will redirect to your new one. You can let it naturally expire on that date.
