This rule will change the color of navigation menu on the right to black:
nav.site-navigation.main-navigation ul li a { color: black; }Do you mean you wish to hide the menu to make the front page look full width?

thanks that worked great!
actually we would like to still be able to see the menu on the right- is it possible to increase the width on the front page but still keep the menu on the right…?
thanks a lot!

Hi there, the content area is currently set at 70%. Let’s try increasing that to 90% and see if that gets you what you are wanting.
.home #content { width: 90%; }The menu stays to the right down to 768px in window/screen width (iPad portrait width) when it moves to the top above the content. You can see this by using the screen size preview buttons at the bottom of the customizer window, or by narrowing your browser window when on the front page of your site (not in the customizer).
