Change askimet API Key

  Hello,

  I use Askimet on my blog (Own hosted) and would like to change the WordPress API Key for Askimet from one WordPress.com’s username to another.

  I already change the API Key on the Plugins section but my blog still appear on the old account, never on new account.

  How to remove my blog from old WordPress.com’ username and appear in the new one?

  Please advice.

  situationocom,for clarification: your mixing two separate issues here.

  you can change your Api for the Akismet plug two any wordpress account by simply typing the accounts api. and thats that.
  If your self hosted site is **registered** to wordpress.com (via another wordpress plug in)
  this why blogs info is showing up on a wordpress.com account.

  if you have the Wp stats plug- in follow raincoasters topic feed and don’t delete your old account just yet.
