change author

  I set up a new blog for my son thinking it would be separate from my account. However, now when he posts it shows my blog as the author. How can I change this? I want to show him as the author without impacting the name of my blog.

  HI there,

  You can transfer ownership of the blog to your son. Then, his account name will display when he posts, as opposed to yours.

  Here’s how you can do that:

  If you’d prefer to retain ownership of the site (I don’t know how old your son is, and how much supervision he needs), you can do so. You can simply add him as a user on the blog. When he logs into his account and posts, his account information will display.

  Note: no matter which choice you make, your son must log into his own WordPress.com account in order to keep your user name from appearing next to his posts.
