  When you have added official authors to the site https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#author and they log in and publish the software automatically supplies their name.

  Hi there,

  If you like to change the author of a published post you can open the post on the classic editor, scroll down to the Author field, select another author, and click on the “Update” button to save the changes. Here’s a screenshot to make things easier:

  To open the post on the classic editor, you need to access the WP Admin dashboard. To do so, add /wp-admin to the end of your site’s address (e.g. delidoligunler.com.com/wp-admin).
