Change Author Listing Order

  Is there anyway to change the way the authors appear on the blog in the author widget? We’re doing this for the company and obviously the VPs are most important and need to be at the top of the list, but it’s only allowing them to show in the order which they were added to the blog. Is there a way to change the order on the author list?

  There is no way to change the order. As far as I can tell, the authors are listed in the order that they are added to the blog.

  You could try deleting all the authors and then putting them back in in the order you want them to appear, but do note that the username that was used to set up the blog will always appear at the top.

  Your other possibility is to use a text widget and create your own authors widget using HTML.
