Change authors in widget, keep content?

  Hi there,

  I manage a blog written by students and every semester we change out the authors. I want only the current authors to show up in the authors widget, but I don’t want to delete the old content.

  I’ve removed the former authors as users/contributors, but they are still showing up in the widget.

  Looks like the widget just needed another few minutes to process the change.
