Change back to old username and adress

  Hi, I was trying to delete account and changed username and blog adress for that reason. Since I found out that I can’t completely delete my account I can’t change back to old username and adress. how long will it take when I can use them again? thanks

  I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but free hosted WordPress.com account addresses cannot be deleted; only the site content can be deleted, and your access to the address is gone forever. There are many warnings before you delete a site to ensure you are making the right decision.

  Addresses (URLs) for blogs that have been deleted by the owner will remain deleted. We cannot, under any circumstances, allow someone to take over the address of a blog that was previously owned and deleted by its original/previous owner. Please do not submit support requests asking us to do this.

  Thats bad, its same for usernames I guess :(

  I think creator should have ability to get back deleted adresses at least for certain amount of time (like for 24h)…. it was accident, I was warned but still…

  You’re welcome for the response. It’s too bad things like this happen.

  Perhaps you can pick a similar address that is available.
