change back to previous username

  Hi,

  I changed my losqueremosvivos.wordpress.com blog to vivosenelrecuerdo.wordpress.com but I need to change it back to losqueremosvivos.wordpress.com because all the people who searched for it knew it by that first name. What can I do?!

  Hi, I’m sorry to say but that won’t be possible. The losqueremosvivos.wordpress.com comes up as saying it has been deleted, which you probably did when you were changing the URL, there is an option to permanently delete that URL, with a warning you wouldn’t be able to change it back if you did this.   Since it says it has been deleted you won’t be able to get it back, because wordpress do not recycle URLs (see here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/)

  You can change the URL to a similar name as the one you want, or register losqueremosvivos.com as your own domain. For more information about domains see here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
